Eligibility Criteria
- For Medical & Health Officer-I: Candidates must not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2026, with upper age relaxation applicable for reserved categories.
- For Registrar / Demonstrator / Resident Physician etc.: Candidates must be between 21 and 45 years of age as on 01/01/2026, with age relaxation of 10 years for PWD candidates.
- Educational Qualification for M&HO-I: MBBS Degree from a recognized University under MCI and registration under the Assam Medical Council.
- Educational Qualification for Registrar/Demonstrator (Broad Speciality): Post Graduate qualification MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject, or MSc/PhD qualifications for specific anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology departments.
- Educational Qualification for Registrar/Demonstrator (Super Speciality): MD/DNB in General Medicine for Medical Super Speciality or MS/DNB in General Surgery for Surgical Super Speciality; DM/M.Ch./DNB holders will be given preference.
Salary / Financial Benefits
- Medical & Health Officer-I (M&HO-I): Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 12,700/- and other admissible allowances.
- Registrar / Demonstrator / Resident Physician etc.: Rs. 57,700/- to Rs. 1,82,400/- PM (Academic level 10) plus other admissible allowances.
