Eligibility Criteria
- JRF Age Limit: Not more than 30 years as on 01.12.2026, with age relaxation of up to 5 years for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, Third gender categories, and women applicants.
- Assistant Professor & Ph.D. Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for applying towards Assistant Professor appointments or Ph.D. admissions.
- Educational Qualification for Master's Degree Holders: General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates must secure at least 55% marks in a Master's degree or equivalent, while OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, and Third gender candidates require at least 50% marks.
- Educational Qualification for 4-Year Bachelor's Degree Holders: Candidates with a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree must have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate to be eligible for JRF and Ph.D. admission.
- Appearing Candidates: Students pursuing or awaiting results for their final year/semester of a Master's or 4-year Bachelor's degree are also provisionally eligible to apply.
