Every page is redrawn as a JPEG image. The tool starts at good quality and steps down (first JPEG quality, then resolution) until the whole file is under your limit, so you get the sharpest version that still fits.
- Works best on scanned documents and photos of certificates.
- Text in the result can be read but not selected, which is fine for uploads.
- If a 20-page PDF can't reach 100 KB legibly, split it or upload only the pages asked for.
