Eligibility Criteria

• Must have successfully completed the One Year Training Course in elementary knowledge Veterinary Science from the recognized School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry established by the Govt. of Assam at Ghungoor, Silchar.
• Must be of sound health both mentally and physically, free from organic defects or bodily infirmity, and subject to a medical examination prior to appointment.
• Age limits follow the Assam Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Subordinate Rules, 2002, with category relaxations of 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Salary / Financial Benefits

• Pay Band of Rs. 14,000/- to 70,000/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200/-.
• Additional allowances as admissible from time to time under government norms.

• HSLC Marksheet
• HSSLC (Science) Certificate and Marksheet reflecting Biology as a subject

• Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) or Domicile Certificate
• Caste or Category Certificate where applicable

• Recent passport-size photographs

How to Apply

• Obtain and fill out the application form in the prescribed Standard Form of Application published in Part-IX of the Assam Gazette.
• Affix one recent passport-size photograph on the application form and enclose an additional recent photograph along with it.
• Enclose the required application fee payment via a KAAC Money Receipt of Rs. 10/- for ST/SC candidates or Rs. 20/- for other categories (Bank Draft, Money Order, Cash, or Cheque are not accepted).
• Attach a self-addressed stamped envelope measuring 23 cm × 11 cm bearing a ₹5/- postal stamp.
• Include self-attested copies of all requisite certificates, mark sheets, and testimonials.
• Place the application inside an envelope, superscribe it clearly with "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF VETERINARY FIELD ASSISTANT (VFA)", and address it to the Member Secretary, Central Selection Board, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam – 782460.
