Eligibility Criteria
- Head of the Department (HOD) in Education: Postgraduate degree in Science, Social Science, Commerce, or Languages; M.Ed; Ph.D. in Education; and 10 years of Teaching Experience in a Teacher Education Institution for Professor or 8 years for Associate Professor.
- Assistant Professor in Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy: Post Graduate degree in Social Sciences or Languages with minimum 55% marks, B.Ed Degree with minimum 55% marks, and National Eligibility Test (NET), State Eligibility Test (SET), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D).
- Assistant Professor in Educational Studies: Post graduate degree in Education (M.Ed) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade, along with NET, SET, or Ph.D. in Education or the concerned subject.
- Assistant Professor in Physical Education, Art Education: Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed) or Post Graduate degree in performing or visual arts with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
- Career Guidance & Counselling: Assistant Professor in Education having Guidance and Counseling as one of the papers in M.Ed or part-time counselling with appropriate qualifications.
- Age Limit: Nil specified.
- In-service candidates are eligible provided they attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.
