Eligibility Criteria
- Stipendiary Trainee / Technician (Plant Operator): Matric with HSC (10+2) or ISC with Science Stream (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, and English as a subject at the SSC level.
- Stipendiary Trainee / Technician (Technician Trades): SSC (10th) with at least 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually, along with a 2-year ITI Certificate in a relevant trade (Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Welder) and English as a subject at the 10th level (or 1 year of post-ITI experience if the ITI duration is less than 2 years).
- Age Limit: 18 to 24 years as on the last date of application.
- Age Relaxation: 3 years for OBC (NCL), 5 years for SC/ST, and an additional 10 years for PwBD candidates.
Salary / Financial Benefits
- Training Stipend (1st Year): ₹20,000 per month plus a one-time book allowance of ₹3,000.
- Training Stipend (2nd Year): ₹22,000 per month.
- Post-Training Pay Scale: Appointed as Technician-B in Level-3 Pay Matrix with a Basic Pay of ₹21,700 plus DA, HRA, and other allowances as per NPCIL rules.
