Eligibility Criteria

• Citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Junior Stenographer Age Limit: Upper age limit is 27 years with age relaxations as per CSIR/GoI guidelines.
• Junior Secretariat Assistant Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years with age relaxations as per CSIR/GoI guidelines.
• Junior Hindi Translator Age Limit: Upper age limit is 30 years with age relaxations as per CSIR/GoI guidelines.
• Junior Stenographer Qualification: 10+2/ XII or its equivalent and proficiency in stenography as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT.
• Junior Secretariat Assistant Qualification: 10+2/ XII or its equivalent and proficiency in computer typing speed and in using computer as per DoPT norms.
• Junior Hindi Translator Qualification: Master's degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level.

Salary / Financial Benefits

• Junior Stenographer: Level – 4 with Basic Pay of Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/- as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
• Junior Secretariat Assistant: Level – 2 with Basic Pay of Rs. 19,900 - 63,200/- as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
• Junior Hindi Translator: Level – 6 with Pay Scale of Rs. 35,400 - 1,12,400/-.
