Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be aged between 21 years and 40 years as on 01.01.2026, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government policy.
• Applicants must have successfully completed 6 months Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training from the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre and be declared proficient in both Survey and Settlement subjects.
• Candidates must possess computer proficiency with a minimum typing speed of 30 WPM in English and 15 WPM in Assamese or Bengali.

Salary / Financial Benefits

• Scale of pay: PB-2 (₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹6,200) with usual allowances.

Selection Process

• Competitive Written Examination (Paper I) consisting of Multiple Choice Questions for a total of 80 marks, with a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer.
• Skill Test (Computer Proficiency test, Paper II) for 20 marks assessing practical typing, basic computer operations, document preparation, and data entry.
• Preparation of a final merit list based on aggregate marks obtained in both the Written Examination and Skill Test, subject to meeting minimum qualifying thresholds and document verification.
