Eligibility Criteria

• Age relaxations apply as per rules: 3 years for OBC-NCL, 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PwBD - UR & EWS, 13 years for PwBD - OBC/NCL, and 15 years for PwBD - SC & ST.
• Candidates must have passed the Secondary School Examination (10th Class) with passing marks in Mathematics and English from any recognized Board of School Education.
• Applicants should have studied the local language at least up to the 10th Standard.
• Additional requisite criteria include knowledge of computers, knowledge of cycling, and adequate means of livelihood.

Salary / Financial Benefits

• BPM Pay Scale / TRCA Slab: ₹12,000 – ₹29,380
• ABPM / Dak Sevak Pay Scale / TRCA Slab: ₹10,000 – ₹24,470
• Emoluments include Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) with an annual increase of 3% subject to conditions, along with Dearness Allowance declared by the Govt. of India.

• Shortlisting of applicants is carried out via a system-generated merit list based on marks obtained or conversion of grades/points to marks in the 10th standard secondary school examination.
• Shortlisted candidates must attend physical verification of original documents by the designated Engaging Authority within 15 days.
• Upon successful verification, an offer of provisional engagement is issued, followed by pre-engagement formalities including 3 days of basic training within 30 days.
