Educational Qualifications

General Requirement: Minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination (50% for SC/ST candidates).

• Assistant Manager (Electrical): Full-time B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from an AICTE approved university/institute (4 years after HSSLC or 3 years after Diploma).
• Assistant Manager (Mechanical): Full-time B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from an AICTE approved university/institute.
• Assistant Manager (Civil): Full-time B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from an AICTE approved university/institute.
• Assistant Manager (Instrumentation): Full-time B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering from an AICTE approved university/institute.
• Assistant Manager (IT): Full-time B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering/IT or MCA from an AICTE approved university/institute.
• Assistant Manager (HR): 2 Years full-time MBA/PGDM with specialization in Human Resource Management/Personnel Management from an AICTE/UGC approved institute.

Domicile Proof:

Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam. A Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) or valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of Assam is mandatory.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years of age as of 01 January 2026.

Category Relaxations

• SC/ST: Up to 43 years (+5 years)
• OBC/MOBC: Up to 41 years (+3 years)
• PwBD: Up to 48 years (+10 years, irrespective of category)
• Departmental Candidates (HR): Up to 45 years

Pay Scale & Remuneration

• Pay Band: ₹37,300 to ₹1,12,000 per month.
• Grade Pay: ₹14,200 Plus other admissible allowances as per APGCL/State Government rules.
